College Principal participated in a library workshop hosted by Sam Jonah Library, University of Cape Coast
As part of University of Cape Coast (UCC's) commitment to support library system of health training institution in Ghana, library workshop was held on Tuesday, 22nd November 2022 at Sam Jonah Library which took the attendance of the College Principal and the Head of Library.
Collaboration with UCC and use of its electronic library services were the main goals that this workshop attempted to accomplish. '
The specific objectives were in a pursuit to :
Ensure that the E-Library platform and E-resources are used ethically and in accordance with the licensing agreement.
Make sure the College has access to top-notch scholarly materials to improve academic work.
Provide the College's librarians and e-resource users (staff and students) with the training they need to use the e-resources efficiently.
It was discussed that UCC would offer the following electronic library platforms should the College accept the terms and conditions of the collaboration:
Open Access Collection
UCC Catalogue
UCC Space
CARLIGH Electronic Database
UCC Virtual Library
Research Guides
Plagiarism Software (Turnitin for project work)
