All News New Library Prefect Elect Jul 15, 2023 Title: Celebrating Ernest Agyei Yeboah as the Newly Elected Library Prefect of Holy Family NMTC, Berekum's SRC Introduction: On the 15th of July 2023, an exciting election took place at Holy Family NMTC, Berekum. The aim was to elect new executive members for the Student Representative Council (SRC). The event drew great enthusiasm and active participation from the student body, with various positions up for grabs, including President, Financial Secretary, Entertainment Prefect, Sports Prefect, Hostel Prefect, PRO, Library Prefect, and many more. Among the contenders for the prestigious role of Library Prefect were two remarkable individuals: Rhoda Atuvui, a dedicated student from the midwifery class (RM 20), and Ernest Agyei Yeboah, a determined student from the nursing class (RGN 24). After the votes were cast and counted, the majority of the students placed their trust in Ernest Agyei Yeboah, making him the new Library Prefect-elect. Let us take a moment to celebrate his accomplishment and extend our heartfelt congratulations. Dear Holy Family NMTC Community, It is with immense pleasure and pride that we extend our warmest congratulations to Ernest Agyei Yeboah for his election as the new Library Prefect of the Holy Family NMTC Student Representative Council (SRC). Ernest's victory in this election serves as a testament to his exceptional qualities, dedication, and the trust placed in him by the student body. The role of Library Prefect is one of great responsibility and importance within the SRC. As the library is a vital hub of knowledge and academic growth, the Library Prefect plays a crucial role in fostering an environment that encourages learning, exploration, and engagement among the students. Ernest's election demonstrates the belief that the Holy Family NMTC community has in his ability to excel in this position and contribute positively to the overall student experience. Throughout his campaign, Ernest exhibited remarkable passion, determination, and a deep understanding of the needs and aspirations of his fellow students. His commitment to promoting a culture of academic excellence, facilitating access to resources, and creating a conducive learning environment was evident in his campaign promises. We have no doubt that Ernest will translate these promises into action, striving to enhance the library's services and support students in their academic pursuits. It is worth noting that Rhoda Atuvui, the fellow candidate in the race for the Library Prefect position, demonstrated her dedication and commitment to the student body as well. We acknowledge her efforts and encourage her to continue contributing to the growth and development of our community in other ways. Elections are an opportunity for students to showcase their leadership skills and commitment to service, and we commend both candidates for their active participation. To Ernest Agyei Yeboah, we offer our heartfelt congratulations once again. Your victory is a testament to your strong character, leadership potential, and the trust bestowed upon you by your peers. As you step into your role as Library Prefect-elect, we have full faith in your ability to carry out your responsibilities with excellence and integrity. Your determination to promote a vibrant and resourceful library will undoubtedly leave a lasting impact on the entire Holy Family NMTC community. In conclusion, let us join together in celebrating Ernest Agyei Yeboah's achievement and the commencement of a new era under the leadership of the newly elected SRC executive members. We wish them all the best as they embark on their respective roles and work collectively towards enriching the student experience at Holy Family NMTC. Congratulations, Ernest Agyei Yeboah, and best wishes for a successful tenure as the Library Prefect! Previous Next

This exercise's main activities center on registering new students or new user and introducing them to the services rendered by the library. In addition to the orientation exercise, a user education program is organized for staff, faculty members, and students to sharpen their information literacy skills. One of the key objectives, which reflects the fundamental values of the library, is the development of information retrieval skills. Users of the library receive training on how to retrieve information using the many digital search systems, such as HFNMTCSpace , OPAC , FIND-IT , and online databases. We welcome requests for user education from individuals or groups. However, we encourage users to submit group requests with a minimum of five (5) participants. https://video.wixstatic.com/video/314f10_5e1bee2061834a0c9ba67e210dbb156e/1080p/mp4/file.mp4 https://opac.nmtcberekum.edu.gh/https://dev-nmtcberekumlibrary.pantheonsite.io/home/find-it/ Previous Next
